Pre-booking is not required to use the spa facilities
Towels will be issued at the spa reception.
Use of Spa facilities for hotel residents and non-residents:
Treatments are available subject to availability and advised to reserve in advance.

SPA ETIQUETTE

ARRIVAL TIME
To ensure you receive your valuable treatment time and receive your full treatment benefits, please allow at least 20 minutes to check in prior to your appointment. Due to our strict booking system, in the event that you may turn up late for your treatment, we will only be able to offer the remaining treatment time, but may still charge the full price of the treatment.

HOW TO SPA
Please bring as few valuables as possible.  The Rock Spa is not liable for any loss or damage to such items. We politely request that you respect the right of other guests by switching all mobile phones to silent and refraining from smoking during your visit.

ADVISORY MEDICAL INFORMATION
The Rock Spa treatment rooms and relaxation areas are for 16 years and up only as this is an adult-only facility. In order for us to advise you on the correct treatments, could you please advise us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your treatment options at the time of booking. If you think you may be pregnant, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, could you please let us know, as there are some treatments that are best avoided during these times. We advise the heat and hydrotherapy experiences not to be used by guests under 16, during pregnancy or under medical supervision of any kind. In some instances a doctors note may be required in order for us to be able to carry out the treatment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

TREATMENTS
A 25.00 non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time of your booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 48 hours prior to appointment. If you need to cancel your booking or re-schedule, we ask for 48 hours notice. Cancellations or amendments within 48 hours will be charged at the full rate.

PACKAGES
A 25.00 non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time of your booking. The remaining balance is required 72 hours prior to appointment. Cancellations or amendments within 48 hours prior to appointment will be charged at the full rate.

Failure to arrive will result in a 100% charge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

VAT
All prices where applicable are inclusive of VAT at Standard Rate. Where changes to tax occur outside our control, price will be amended accordingly.

SPA & HOTEL PROPERTY
All items in the Spa & Hotel remain the property of The Rock Spa & The Metropole Hotel The Rock Spa and The Metropole Hotel reserve the right to charge guests after departure for items removed during the stay (For example – but not limited to – bathrobes, towelling, items in rooms/treatment rooms and around the property).

EARLY DEPARTURE
Guests who leave The Metropole or The Rock Spa before the departure date specified on their booking confirmation will not be entitled to a refund for the unused part of their booked stay. They may also be charged a cancellation fee for the unused portion of their stay.

VALUABLES
We cannot accept responsibility for the safety of your personal belongings (including – without limitation – money or valuables) of any kind during your stay or your day package. If you do bring these items to The Rock Spa we strongly recommend that they are covered by your own insurance policy.

LIABILITY
(a) Save as set out at (b) below, (i) we accept no liability to you or your party for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by your or your party (howsoever caused), or loss or damage to you or your party’s personal property, during your stay at The Rock Spa or in connection with your booking, and (ii) our entire liability to you or your party in connection with your booking and stay is limited to twice the total amount of booking fees received by you in connection with your booking. (b) Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude our liability to you or your party for (i) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, (ii) fraudulent misrepresentation, or (ii) any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of our obligations under this agreement to the extent that the performance is interrupted or prevented by any act or omission beyond our reasonable control.

MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions (or part of any provision) is found by any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed not to form part of the contract, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of the contract shall not be affected.

A person who is not a party to the agreed booking shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including any non-contractual claims or disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

By accessing this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Rock Spa reserve the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions at any time. This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or endorsement.

Although we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of the information in this web site, Rock Spa does not make any warranties, express or implied, in relation to its accuracy. Furthermore, Rock Spa cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the arrangements featured on this website should they find such alterations necessary.
